Make use of the bicycle rental, because the surroundings have a lot to offer! In the Vecht Valley you may spot the tree falcon, snipe, short-eared owl, and hen harrier. Wild boars and foxes, vipers and pool frogs, it is a real zoo here. Speaking of which, Tierpark Nordhorn and WILDLANDS Emmen are within driving distance, as is shopping city Zwolle. Theme park tips are Hellendoorn and Plopsaland, and you can also enjoy a terrace café in smaller, equally cosy places such as Ommen and Mariënberg.
