KNAUS Campingpark Frickenhausen

Camping Frickenhausen has a 12 x 6 m swimming pool where you can relax after a day of excursions. If you would like to swim even more, the public outdoor swimming pool is within walking distance of the campsite and is also free of charge for guests of Camping Frickenhausen. Furthermore, the campsite has its own marina and there is a boat ramp at 200 mtr.

If you don't want to go to a wine festival or visit a town for a day, you can also have a great time at the campsite. The sporty ones will play a game of table tennis or beach volleyball, while the children will have fun in the playground or at the table football. In the evening, you can have a bite to eat in the restaurant, or you can buy a stash of meat in the local supermarket, which you can put on the grill in the central barbecue area with its large barbecue hut. Cycling is also very good here, the Main cycle path nearby is almost flat and well signposted.

The big city nearby is Würzburg. There you should definitely go and admire the Würzburg residence with its palace garden. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1981.
