Camping Les Lauriers Roses

The heated swimming pool at Les Lauriers Roses is small but fine and on a hot summer day at the Côte d'Azur, a lovely place to cool down. There is a separate children's pool and brightly coloured sunbeds where you can read a magazine or book after a dip in the pool. Do put on plenty of sun cream, because you will be sunburnt before you know it! Les Lauriers Roses is situated between the well-known towns of Saint Aygulf and Fréjus, 3 km from the sea. In Fréjus you can easily park your car. Stroll through the town and enjoy a day at the beach.

Les Lauriers Roses is a terraced campsite, which means that the higher areas offer a beautiful view of the surroundings. You can park your car close to your accommodation. For the little ones there is a playground, the older children can be found at the table tennis tables or the table football game. You can work on your fitness at the outdoor fitness equipment next to the swimming pool. There you will also find the bar/restaurant in Mediterranean colours, for that real southern French holiday feeling. Handy fact: you can order in English. Sporty guests can rent a bike at the campsite to explore the area or cycle to one of the pleasant markets that can be found every day.

As soon as you leave the campsite, you will find hiking trails on the 'Petits Maures' ridge. In the early and late season there are organised walking tours in, among others, the impressive rock massif of Roquebrune. Opposite the campsite entrance is the nature reserve 'Etangs de Villepey' with marked footpaths and footbridges. Are you a walker? Then this is also an alternative hiking route to the beach. 

The sea, as well as the picturesque seaside resort of Saint-Aygulf is 3 km from the campsite. Towns to visit include Saint Tropez, Saint Raphael, Antibes, Cannes and Nice. Nice for a day out, as they are all within 60km. A day trip to Monaco or even across the border to Italy is also possible here. Also fun is a boat trip to Saint Tropez/Port Grimaud or Cannes.
