Camping Medrose

At campground Medrose (the new name of campground Le Médiéval) you will find a small, clear swimming pool and a separate children's pool. After a splash in the water, enjoy reading a book on the terrace while you tan from the sun in the Ardèche. The pool is open until 8 p.m. every day, so you can relax in the water even after a day out. A stream flows along the campsite, where the children can spend hours playing with stones and water. It is not a swimming stream. 

The French family that runs Medrose has converted the farmhouse into a beautiful restaurant. The terrace, where of course you can also just have a drink, is very cozy and is wonderfully shaded by old sycamores. There is a mini-club for children, where Dutch is also spoken. Traditionally, many Dutch and French families come here. On the large playground the children can play soccer and romp around. In the evening there is also something for the parents to do, such as performances. And of course a game of jeu-de-boules is not missing.

The Ardeche is a beautiful rugged but also green environment. This campsite is located in the middle of the authentic Ardeche. You can easily walk to the small village of Saint-Thomé. The campsite is close to the ViaRhona, the longest cycling route along the Rhone, so if you take your bike, you can easily discover the area by bike from here. You are also not far from Montélimar, so if you go to this city for a day, be sure to taste the famous nougat.
