Camping La Nouzaréde

No luxury camping site would be complete without excellent facilities for water fun. At Camping La Nouzaréde there is the option for swimming at the site’s own large heated pool, and there’s plenty of solarium space for parents to relax on the sun loungers while the kids splash about in the paddling pools. For natural swimming, a secured area on the River Beaume also has a beach area.

This site enjoys a delightful rural setting and has all the facilities needed for a terrific camping holiday in the Ardeche. For refreshments, there is restaurant, bar with pizzas and snacks on the terrace, fresh bread is delivered daily and for self-catering provisions, the shops of Joyeuse are a short stroll of a few hundred metres away. The village also host a market on Wednesdays. Activities on site are plentiful and include aquagym, basketball, volleyball, and boules. There are tennis courts in Joyeuse. The Kids Club operated in July and August.

The countryside of the surrounding national park is a charm for hiking, horse riding and cycling and the various rivers offer opportunities for fishing, canoeing and canyoning. The gorges are stunning to photograph and the caves with their prehistoric paintings are interesting to explore. The local town and villages are filled with history and culture, all just begging to be discovered.
