Swimming facilities at Urban Gardens campsite
You can swim at this campsite in Ghent. The recreational lake is best described as a complete water park with high slides and exuberant fountains. If you want more water fun, walk or cycle towards Sup Gent to explore the city while paddling. Floating on the Scheldt - of course, this can also be done by canal boat - you realise that such a holiday in the city is not so crazy at all. Even with children.
Facilities at Urban Gardens campsite
The sports and recreation park is right next to the campsite. Beach volleyball, a climbing course, the playground, a game of football; you will find it all here. Take a rest and have a picnic on the beach. Also present during this special camping holiday: cycle hire, a pizza food truck and bar, and quiet entertainment such as petanque or table tennis.

Antwerp's charming sister has a picturesque and fashionable city centre. Walk the Herman Brusselmans route and taste Ghent cheese croquettes on a terrace by the Scheldt. Visit the ruins of Gravensteen or treat yourself to a 'pack of fries' at the Frietmuseum. Shopping here is a treat. More beautiful Belgian cities such as Bruges, Brussels, and Antwerp (visit the famous Zoo here) are within driving distance, as are amusement parks Harry Malter and De Toverplaneet.
